Point: AIGA Colorado Education Journal

Point: The AIGA Colorado Education Journal is a publication designed and written by the student members of the Colorado chapter of AIGA.

The journal was developed by Chris St. Cyr and Kelly McMurray in the Fall of 2005 with the objective of publishing the first issue in the spring of 2006. The goal of the journal was to bring students from the various design programs in Colorado together to learn from and about each other while building a stronger student AIGA community. 

Designer, Matt Crest and Editor, Joseph Coplans, joined the team to help guide the students through the concept, writing, design, and production stages. The students learned about printing, paper selection and editorial design from the many mentors that made the project possible. The end result is a publication that provides a mile-high student perspective of the design world.
